I been breaking in my PH14. If I had one complaint it would be that the LED switch is too bright. I'd like to dim it a bit. I'm thinking adding a 1/4w 330ohm resister. Is there a different value I should consider. Assuming I'd but it inline on the red wire, does it matter red or black?

I used a Sharpie marker, an all bothersome L.E.D.s, works for me.

Could you use clear (or colored) plastic film that has been buffed with sandpaper to opaqueness?

It's an LED integrated into the switch. Not a separate light. It's the brightest light in the rack.
