What is the recommended minimum clearance between a preamp and amp? In this case, the SP-14 and the ST-120. If I wanted to stack the ST-120 on top of the SP-14, how much space should be left between the two?

Re: Clearance between amp and preamp
definitely NOT recommended for several reasons
1 is that the ST120 is a very heavy amp
2 is that you'll likely pick up noise in the preamp from the amplifier transfomer
3 should be obvious, tubes run HOT (300+) and need lots of cooling space.
If you are using shelves, as you should, then I'd recommend a minimum of 3" above the preamp, and 4" above the amplifier

That's kind of what I figured but I thought I'd ask. Thanks, Roy!
