    Hi everybody,

    Thanks for the knowledge dropped here, I'll be perusing the board for hours on end I suspect.

    Anyhow, anyone familiar with a VTA ST-70 build nicknamed vta-100, kt-88 PP

    I did try a few searches, but didn't come up with anything, suspect syntax issues

    well, you didn't show the amp, just the driver board, which is a standard VTA70 driver board from about ten years ago.
    Probably a basically stock ST70 but using KT88 output tubes.

    Yes, I purchased only the driver board recently
    Sorry for not being clear on that.

    I have an older, original Dynakit st70 that I plan to update...

    From what I understand, to run the kt88 family, I likely should upgrade the power transformer...

    I'll grab a photo of the amplifier in the next few days

    I also have a Kimmel mod board from Welborne that I'll build eventually...
