    Mosfet TDR Empty Mosfet TDR

Post by bobgroger Sat Feb 13, 2021 12:42 am

I am thinking about a slightly different Time Delay for my in-transit ST-120. Thoughts on a High voltage MOSFET switching the rectifier output maybe after the first filter cap with a 555 timer or a simple RC time delay? I am worried about relay contacts arcing. Also wondering about a inrush limiter thermistor, is it worthwhile?

    Hi Bob,
hey, we've been selling the TDR for about a dozen years now and I'm not aware of any failures.
The relay contacts are rated at 8 amps
