Three Mark II Amps My Friend Wants Me To Restore

Maybe I missed something here, but I can't see any other thread, nor any links.
Those are 3 interesting amps you have there. I would guess that 2 of them are for sure Mark II units, but there in one (the one sandwiched between the two, that appears as if it might be a Mk III? I only mention this as to the apparent dimensions of the driver board. I know my early Mk IIs have 'square' driver boards, where as my Mark IIIs have the 'rectangular' board. I do believe there were some transition units of the Mk IIs that did have the rectangular boards as well. Easiest way for me to tell is the presence of a 4 ohm speaker tap or a choke underneath! I will add that I think my Mk IIs actually sound better than my Mk IIIs. This may be a function of the EL34s vs the 6550s, but even so, I find the distinction quite 'audible'. So, treat these Mk IIs with love!! Tom D.
