here's an photo of the M125 top plate for the new amp chassis style.
Of course I don't presently have any transformers in stock, but hopefully you can get the idea . . .
same layout but about 20% more space - oops, well this one needs to have a hole for the power cord
(which could be put thru the bottom box chassis if you don't want it on top)
a socket could be added for a WZ68 or just add a couple diodes underneath on a terminal strip.

When I clicked the photo place-holder the linked image came up.

edit: oops. What I meant was I did a Control-Click, then Open Image In New Tab, to get the image to appear.

    Meanwhile, here it is:

What would be awesome would be an upgrade kit for existing owners that want the new design.  I'd totally buy this for the M125s that I'm rebuilding.

    One can always wish.

Edit: I see a previous comment that shows this is a possibility.

Here is where I'm at in my M125 rebuild journey. I have to redo the power section and fuse so that the hot lead is used vs neutral.

not a great photo, but here's a real photo of the newer style M125 amp (the classic style is still available, same price either way)
Looks nearly identical to the original, but black powdercoated steel base and aluminum top plate. No rectifier tube or quad cap, diodes and caps underneath,
and it's about 20% larger in size so the components are spread apart more and doesn't run as warm.

Looks great Roy. Do you have a photo of the back of the amp?

Very nice - what is extra cool about that (no pun in ten did) is the base could be replaced easily with a nice wood base.

Where does the WZ68 plug in? I know some were drilling holes in the WZ68 and even adding a cooling fan due to heat issues. If it's below the top plate wont heat be even more of an issue?

    It doesn't use a WZ68, just diodes.

I have the M125's on order with the new design style so I was wondering about the configuration.  I thought the WZ68 has dropping resistors and a thermistor in addition to the diodes.
