VTA ST-120 Wiring For 16ohm Speakers Empty VTA ST-120 Wiring For 16ohm Speakers

I have a set of 16ohm speakers I want to drive with this amplifier. Is it acceptable to use 18ga solid core wire from the NFB post directly to the 4ohm speaker terminal? (I will remove the brown 4ohm lead and insulate it) I saw on another thread that this wire was suitable for the ST-70, I just want to confirm I can use it on the ST-120. I don't want to cook this thing without even listening to it yet!

    Thanks
