Read a couple of posts here about polishing a faceplate. I was wondering about safe solutions for removing residue such as tar from smoke? I have a PAS-3x that needs the outer casing cleaned up. No dings or sratches just tar and age at this point. Wondering what everyone used that did not disturb the lettering?
