220V to 110V for a PAS-3 or SCA35 Dynaco

Hello guys !
I'm a french citizen and I have at home a dynaco st-70 amp (220V), a pat4 dynaco (220V), but a pas3 in 110V and I recently bought a dynaco SCA35 in 110V too.
Then, I do not want to change the transformers of these machines and I just wanted to make them work in 220V frome France...
I watched yesterday a video on youtube where a guy created a 220V to 110V with 2 big caps and resistors according this schematic :

Then I know you are the best in electronics and old tube (pre)amps !!  
What do you think about that ? do you think it would be possible in my case mountig these caps/resistors on a strip lug ?

No, this wont work and will not be reliable.

New transformer for PAS3 230 Volt ( PA522 replacement) are available from sweden.
New trabsformer for SCA35 dynakitparts

The alternative is to buy a step-down transformer locally, the same transformer may be used for
several units provided it's power capacity is enough.

a step-down transformer would be best and could be used to power most things that run on 115-125vac

Do NOT do this.

Transformers are used for very good and safe reasons.

A "Step Down" transformer is easy and safe to use at a very reasonable price.

The Dynaco ST35 is a wonderful amp, Treat it well and it will make you happy for many years.

As others have already said, You should use, either a step down, or auto transformer.
While doable in theory. It definitely won't be safe, neither for the gear, or You!

This might be a idea?

It's easy and not expensive to find and purchase a correct voltage step-down transformer in France. I've used mine for years in Paris without any problems. Your PAS3 and SCA35 won't be bothered about the French 50 cps.
