Does anyone have the SP12 preamp and what is your impressions. I am looking to build a new preamp.

I have the parts and am currently in the process of building an SP12 along with a PH12 phono stage. I plan to start a build thread tonight or tomorrow, so you can get some impressions as I go if you'd like. So far, I'm having a great time and can't wait to hear it.

yes the SP12 is an AIKIDO PCB optimized for line stage use and with a simpler parts list so you don't have to guess at what configuration is best, I've built dozens of these and they sound great, but good luck trying to get any from the original source. I bought a good supply a month ago because they were out of stock for 6 months.
My kit also includes a tube power supply rather than the solid state supply of the original which to me is a SIN to use on a tube preamp.

Just got prebuilt SP12 and ST120 a week ago and am loving life. Excellent products.
