    ST-70 Noise Empty ST-70 Noise

    Post by Pillo69 Sun Mar 10, 2013 9:47 am

    Hello.
When I switch off ST70 makes a noise (Plof) from the speakers.
    What could it be?.

Some ST-70's do this. It is usually a minor transient that stems back to the power switch. To get rid of this, place a .02 or .022 uF capacitor across the two terminals of the power switch. Any .02 uF cap 250 volts or higher should work fine.

Bob, I have placed a .022 uF capacitor to 400 volts and has been perfect.
    Thank you again.
