    Most Hobbs (hour) meters I've seen work on a range of 10-80 VDC. Three questions: anywhere a guy could tap one with those specs?; two, are there any rated for AC - 120VAC being the ideal, of course; three, would the mechanical meter's operation interfere with the voltage it's straddling?

    Dave, here u are. I mounted mine on an outboard VU panel. Just plugged it in to a SWITCHED outlet on the pre. I note the hour readout on tube box flap. easy tracking. Dale
