    Anyone have experience with black diamond ECC82's as drivers in their VTA ST-70?

    Yes, i have used JJ ECC82 most of the time. ( At start i used NOS from bob but one developed
    hum thus i replaced them )
    At present the JJ ECC82 have been powered app 4000h

    ( Telefunken black diamond is relabeled JJ )

    Now i have measured them, and emission seems to have been reduced to app half ( i never
    measured them at install) Thus 4000h seems to be acceptable lifetime.
    Now i have replaced with redtop ECC82 ( balanced )
    Sound however seems not affected at a first listening.
