    Maybe some of you know that JJ tubes in the Slovak Republic is now also making "premium type" tubes under the Telefunken name. I have had customers ask me about these tubes but I have not heard them myself so I cannot comment on their sound. If anyone has used either the Telefunken ECC82 driver tubes or their EL34, KT88, 6550 output tubes in either their VTA amp or any other amp, let us know how they sound? Telefunken-Elektroakustik in the USA is based in South Windsor, CT. See link below for more info on the "new" Telefunken tubes made by JJ.

    I have been using the original JJ-6550 in my vta-70 for over a year. Bias stays steady, and
    sound is spectacular. I guess the copy sold to telefunken will be good too.
