GZ34 Source?

Post by bigmm79 on Sat Nov 20, 2010 10:30 am

Anybody know a reputable source for a Mullard GZ34, other than eBay? Or I guess a good seller on eBay?

I recently had a sovtek GZ34 go bad - caused buzzing in power transformer and too low bias in tubes. I just want to bite the bullet and spring for a nos or gently used Mullard. I have a Mullard GZ33 that has been great, but I think the sound was better with a GZ34.

Try one of these. I've used one in my st70 for like 6 months with no issues

Hi,
Try: www.tubemonger.com He is a reputable NOS tube dealer. He has
Hitachi/Zaerix GZ-34 rectifier tubes in stock. I have two of these and
they are as good or better than any GE or Sylvania brands I have used.
At $60 bucks it's a very fair price.
