I know I'm looking ahead but I am about to finish my ST-120 amp. While I'll start out mating it with a stock PAS-3 and Snell E-III speakers, I want to see what you guys recommend for a kit pre-amp since I had a ball putting the ST-120 together. Requirements: Inputs for Tuner, CD, Aux., Phono (preferably built in). So 4 total. Instructions like Bob Latino provides as I can't read a schematic yet. Tube based. Cost $1000 or less. I looked at the Bottlehead Seduction + Eros (not enough inputs), Tubes4hifi (Too advanced for me, I think), and Audionote L2 (leader so far but over my price range), Hagerman (not enough inputs). Any suggestions or input would be appreciated. Thanks.
