Dynaco Mark III stereo 70
Hello to all, I have a doubt; Nowadays I have a stage stereo 70 and a few stages MarkIII with a previous Pas III and for lack of space I me have that desacer of one of the two, the problem is that not which to sell, the two me placen equally. The configuration that better fits me into the furniture is the stereo 70. Is it to be wrong very much if I remain with the stereo 70 and bandage Mark III? Regards from Spain. Israel

MK III's vs ST-70
Israel,
First thing...I would fire the translator (just a joke).
Your MK III amps look very nice...I assume the ST-70 is in similar condition?
No question about the added space required for the MK III mono blocks. If space is
limited ...I think you have answered your own question...keep the ST-70 amplifier and
sell the MK III amps. Sell them to me for $200 USD plus free shipping?

It is true that I have to sell one of the two teams, but is it a joke your offer through these stages? $ 200 alone?

Re: Dynaco Mark III stereo 70
if I had any money left I'd give you $1500 for the pair of MK3s!
Someone somewhere will pay that much for them!

Re: Dynaco Mark III stereo 70
Hello, I do not want to get rich with amplification, but $ 200 is enough, I live in Spain, the delivery is over $ 200.
My question is am I wrong staying with the 70 and sell DYNACO monophonic?
regards

Re: Dynaco Mark III stereo 70
they are both very good amplifiers, if you've got the space, keep the MK3s, if you don't have space, keep the ST70s,
and make lots of money selling the MK3s!

Re: Dynaco Mark III stereo 70
My opinion: Having owned a variety of ST-70 amplifiers (including several ARC ST-70-C3) I wouldn't trade my Mark IIIs for any sort of ST-70.

Re: Dynaco Mark III stereo 70
I have both the ST70 and the MKIII's. Both are Dynakitparts issues with Tubes4hifi VTA boards.
I have a vintage pair of AR3a's and the best match is with the MKIIIs.
The ST70 is teamed up with AR11's and makes for a good match in a smaller listening area.
If I was faced with your situation, I would somehow find a way to keep the MKIII's. There is something magical about how all that "iron" sounds.
My 2 cents!

Re: Dynaco Mark III stereo 70
You guys caused me to drag my Mark IIIs down to the main listening room... I am listening to Ray Brown Trio on Telarc and the increase in stage depth is not subtle over the EL-34 based VTL that I puilled out. The Mark IIIs can drive Magnepans without sounding "sloppy"... I don't know of another tube amp in this price range that can do that! Is there a simpler amp design than the Mark III? Every now and again I think about buying an ARC D-76 but one look at the schematic and I put those thoughts out of my mind.

Winemakers, huh? What are we looking at for driver boards on those MK III's? Also some unfamiliar rectifier tubes on those as well..

Re: Dynaco Mark III stereo 70
Excuse me, do not understand English well, do you say you like but the stereo 70 with the modification VTL that the monophonic?.
The truth is that I have problem space to place them in the cabinet.

The protection of the plate is manufactured in house, so my kids do not put your hand.

Gracias por la bienvenida tube nude,me quedare con las MakIII.
The 70 stereo also sounds great and I supposed less space.
