pas 2 or 3 , 10 ohm resister on the rca board? Empty pas 2 or 3 , 10 ohm resister on the rca board?

hello all, i am new to the forum and have been enjoying all the information from so much experience and knowledge with the dynaco audio systems. my question today is the necessity of the 10 ohm resister on the original rca strips of a pas 2 -3. i have upgraded to the kit offered at dynakits and noticed that there is a little difference in wiring. i have not replaced the line amp it is original so the 510k was replaced but i am not sure about the 10 ohm? thank you for the help.

    Hagmo,

the resistors were used to prevent ground loops that can cause unexplained buzzing, humming, or oscillation in your audio path. That happens when each piece of euqipment is connected with RCA connectors (signal and ground) and each piece of gear also includes a grounded 3 wire power cord.

If you don't have multiple ground paths, then the resistors are not needed.
