Hello, I'm new to the world of Dynaco, and am enjoying my amp thoroughly.
It's still pretty much original. The power supply has 63 stamped on the front. Not sure if
that is the year of creation. Anyhow, I came upon these amps as a recommendation for the
Zu Soul Superfly speakers, which are 16 ohm. This system rocks.

Are you using the 16ohm taps on those? I'm still experimenting with which taps sound best with my Klipsch.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes, the Zu Soul speakers are designed for 16 ohm. Although I have no reference to the 8 ohm tap as it is tied up inside.

    Hi PGP3,

I'll also soon be a proud owner of VTA ST-70 and Soul Superfly speakers!  Have you experienced using Bob Latino's VTA ST-70 amp?  Also, which output tubes do you use?  I know tastes differ but looking for a starting point.

    Thanks!

EDIT: I know this post is very old but is a great thread for my questions!
