Connecting Headphone Amp Empty Connecting Headphone Amp

Post by theeditor Sun Jul 28, 2013 8:37 pm

Howdy: My setup: PAS 3 preamp/ST70 amp/Thorens TT/DYNA FM tuner/Cal Audio Labs CD transport/Grant Fidelity Tube DAC. I would like to run a headphone amp off one of the PAS 3 outputs. Any idea if it should be Tape Output, Tape Amp or Tape Head or Special? (My CD player runs off "Spare.")

    Thanks!

If your headphone amp has a volume control then connect to "tape out".

If it has no volume control you will have to use normal output ( with a tee or switch).
