Use Blue Jeans from pre- to the VTA but have, over the years, acquired some high $$$ 1.5m cables which i use from sources (RTR, phono) to he preamp. Decent balanced cables from the OPPO. As of last night, started auditioning Anti-cables 3.1 for the speakers. Great price and solid wire. Initially, they do sound amazing just streaming "Jazz Groove".
Must add, my VTA ST-70 with Fritz Carrera BE7 speakers is a wonderful combination and for the overall price tag, I do not feel can be beat.

Interconnect: Years ago I bought several feet of solid silver bezel wire 99.9% pure, 4x1 mm. I made two sets of interconnects with them. They were Teflon wrapped, shielded, and had a drain wire attached. They were terminated with locking RCA connectors. They served me well for several years.

Recently I took them apart, removed all the shielding and drain wire and just left the Teflon, and twisted them up nice and put new silver plated locking RCA connectors.

I could not tell a lick of difference in SQ between the shielded versions and the non shielded versions.

My conclusion: Unless your interconnects are super long or next to a bunch of live wires, stranded vs solid and shielding makes no difference but copper vs. silver does.
