I thought this topic had been discussed, but my search on the forum didn't pull up anything. So, does anybody have a recommendation for rca or xlr interconnects?

Hi,
Check out both Signal Cable and Blue Jeans Cable. (links below) Both companies offer high quality cables for reasonable prices. I have cables here from both companies that I use every day.
Signal Cable
Blue Jeans Cable
Also check out the Audioquest Black Mamba II interconnects. Very high quality RCA connectors on the ends. I use these on my ST-120 between my CD player and the amp using the stepped attenuator on the ST-120 to control volume.

I use Kinber Timbers throughout. Also like the VH-Audio fine silver wire DIYs. Just finished 3 sets with slightly different construction. Further discussion here: https://dynacotubeaudio.forumotion.com/t815-interconnect-cables-passive-pre-st120-tube-amp

I say make your own!
For the price of Kimber Cables you can buy PURE silver wire to make DIY cables that will blow away consumer stuff.
Here's a great project for DIY pure silver cables.

Sal, yes, I like your cables! 20 cents each!!! 3 foot long gold RCA connectors, try making those yourself at that price!!
I don't need no stinkin' $200 cables!!

Yep - Most cables are way overpriced and the hype associated with big $$$ cables just won't go away. Below is the link on the "Monster cable vs. cables made from coat hanger wire". Read it an have a good laugh ..

Roy,
Deep Surplus must have run out of the 5 foot cable, the 5 foot cables were about 30 cents each. I bought a bunch and use them without any problems. Deep Surplus will get them back in stock again.
If they sold the 2 foot cables for 20 cents each, what did they pay for them? 5 cents...
