Is it possible to use a switch for on / off in tone control in the PAS ?.

I was thinking of using the Loudnes switch or the filter switch for it.

A switch can be used for bass circuit. But ......, how to disconnect treble control ?.

This is what Dynaco did to implement flat (out of circuit) controls on the PAS-2x and PAS-3x. Schematic shows the tone controls in the FLAT position:

Dynaco had controls specially made; you can't!

You say that the previous scheme for the suppression of tone controls, is not correct ?.

Note that in the PAS-Nx circuit, the 400K treble pot is open circuit in the flat position.

    Surely I can not connect a switch 2cir./2pos., And I need a switch 4circ./2pos.

There is a gentleman named Mark Oppat (AKA the King of Kontrols)

    http://www.oldradioparts.net/

Who may be able to fabricate a control that would accomplish the center-null function of the X-type tone control. He has the ability to make up parts from individual sections. And so might be able to cut the carbon ring in a typical control to create that null.

Worth asking. And if he can, he might get quite a bit of demand from this venue alone.
