Heathkit tube checker specs

I have a Heathkit TC-3 tube checker and I need the test settings for the newer tube types used in VTA products. Can anyone provide the settings for the following tubes? KT-120, KT-88.

Any hints where I could find them is also appreciated.

I do not have a TC 3. It is an emission tester but should give good basic results. For my Hickok tester I used the 6550 settings for the KT88 and they work out just fine. If your TC 3 has the 6550 settings it would probably be a good starting point until something more definitive is specified.

The KT 120 is in the same family as the KT 88/6550 so I think your settings would be the same. The KT 120 may actually have to have higher emissions to be good compared to a KT 88. More of a guess than a qualified answer.

5881 = 6L6 =~ EL34/6CA7/KT77

Enjoy, as emissions-testers go, the TC3 is amongst the best.
