I am just going to use the line part of my PAS3 and am wondering if I can leave the tubes out of the Phono board?

    Hi William,

Yes - you can leave the two 12AX7's out on the phono board but it will probably raise the voltages on the other two 12AX7 tubes on the line stage board. Check the PAS-3 manual and check the voltages on the line stage 12AX7's. If they are only slightly higher than normal (5% - 10%) you will probably be OK ...
