As far as I know these Tung-Sol KT170 output tubes are just coming out now in Russia. I am sure that some company will build a high powered tube amp using these tubes in the near future. They have an interesting shape and do look nice. They are going to be expensive ($100+ USD each) and any amp built with these tubes will be pricey. I am pretty sure that they won't bias properly in any of our VTA amps.
As of 10/30/20 I could only find these on the Russian web site below and even they mention that they are not available as yet. It would be nice to find a spec sheet on these ?

Prima Luna made a KT-170 news release in a similar vein. No spec sheets available, yet. Would be interesting to tap the potential of this tube in a VTA Amp. Of course that would require some engineering.
