    Bob,
It looks like today is your last day as a working man. I guess that you will be a man of leisure now. Best of wishes to you and your family. I hope that we see you pop up on this forum every once in a while. You no longer need to be polite to your customers - just tell us what you really think. I wanted to say good luck and thank you for your past help and excellent customer service. I love all of my VTA equipment and feel lucky/blessed that I ran across your and Roy's products and services. Your advice has always been spot on, yet you seemed to understand that every individual has to go their own way but you never got judgmental or too upset. You have a lot of friends on this forum so don't be a stranger. Congratulations and take care.

    Mike

    Dear Bob,

Wishing you a great retirement! I will miss your bold-type knowledge and wisdom. You talked me off the ledge many times and gave me the confidence to build and enjoy my ST120.
I'm grateful to have found VTA.

Health, happiness, and all the best,

    Ned

Thanks to all of you for your kind words .. I won't be in "active duty" selling the VTA amp kits anymore but I will still be here to moderate our forum.

Congratulations on retiring. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've been enjoying mine. And, thanks for your help in getting my M-125s ready for their trip to Bangkok those many years ago. They're still going strong and are still the centerpiece to my system. Many thanks!

    Post by baddog1946 Tue Oct 12, 2021 12:06 pm

I have been out of the loop for a couple of months travelling and Bob's retirement is new to me. I am wondering who will take over from the irreplaceable Bo Latino?
What happens to the forum? Where do we buy VTA stuff? etc.
    cheers

Bob, You have been great to work with and a real time saver. Thanks again on your Variac suggestion and the contact -- works great and price was right. Have always paid attention to your answers to may peoples questions and in the event I run into issues with my ST-70, have a great reference. Mine with the KT-66's still running true and sounds great. Something that will for sure be passed down to my kids. Great product, great service, great guy!

This caught me by surprise too. So, I want to thank you Bob, for helping me fufill a couple of my HiFi dreams. 1. Building from a kit and 2. Trying a tube amplifier.

Growing up with Solid-State* and thinking that tubes were from my father's generation, I later developed an interest in how tubes might have an effect on the sound I found the VTA's. Affordable tube amps. Again, thanks for everthing. Full retirement is pretty cool.

    * I vaugely remember the transition away from tubes.

I also want to add my thanks. As you will note I have been around for a bit yet not needed to ask for too much help. I attribute it to the fact that all answers I have needed are already well documented by Bob so his legacy will be long lived. Thanks much and i will continue to read and re-read and re-read.....
