Dynaco paint question

The vintage amps have two different cover color paints. The earlier version was a brown and the later a black. I have been able to match the black using several manufacturers of satin black spray paint. i am not finding the proper match for the brown though.

Can anyone recommend a make/model of spray paint that is a good match for the early brown paint. thanks in advance.

A post in Feb 2014 said Valspar "Java Brown" is a fairly close match to the older brown Dynaco tube cages. It is also a satin paint with a low gloss.

The Valspar Java Brown is not available in a spray can. Limited sources for quarts as well. It may be discontinued and only stock left is for sale. I may try to buy one of the quartz and add it to my sprayer. Not sure how that will turn out

No luck finding any of the Java Brown. Spray or cans. It looks like they stopped making it and none left to purchase. Any other suggestions?

Looks like Rustoleum spray paint comes in several shades of brown per the Home Depot website. You might take the cage with you to the paint department and see if one of these matches
