AC Voltage On Chassis Empty AC Voltage On Chassis

Is it normal to read AC voltage between the chassis and earth ground on an st-70? I know that a 3 prong power cord can be added, but Dynaco produced thousands of units with the two prong.

Rudes, what's your preamp? Could be coming from there. Some eq has a r/c network across the AC input. Over time the cap will leak to grd. Dale

This is with no input on the amp. This seems normal if using a two prong power cord. I also tested my Pas pre-amp and also get a voltage reading from the metal case to earth ground.
