    Seems I am back again with similar issue:

    1watt 10ohm.


    Burned out again.

    And I think it took out the wire to the digital bias board.

    And wire .. maybe due to that resistor being dead:

    Questions:
    1) This lasted over a year.  Is this symptom of standard use and wear or more about something else wrong?
    2) If I replace the resistor and cut / resolder wire is this sufficient repair or are there other things to diagnose first?
