I recently purchased a tone control line amp from C. Epperson and am having a noise problem with it. I get a nice 60Hz buzz through the amp. I have gone through the wiring and cannot find any mistakes that I may have had. I have worked with Mr. Epperson to try and find a solution to the problem and have come up blank. The 60Hz buzz is there with the volume control turned all the way down. When I turn the volume up to maximum, the buzz will pretty much go away. Does anyone have any ideas? I have been fiddling with this for almost a week and am ready to take the line amp and throw it away.
