VTA PARTS UPGRADE Empty VTA PARTS UPGRADE

Post by kost Wed Nov 11, 2009 6:00 am

    Hi

I have three questions about the vta mod that i have and enjoy for two years.
I am thinking to lower the VTA output and this is a good chance to replace with better quality resistors.Any
    suggestions?Riken, kiwame or what?
My vta version has the o.33 mf auricaps.
As far as i see the vta uses 0.22mf.
    What is the best capacitance?
I want to replace the 0.022mf 150v ceramic disc of the
    power transformer,can you please suggest?

    cheers

If you mean reducing the gain of the board I did the "kegger" mod to mine and it is quite perfect.
