    You could probably make some pretty high power amps with those. NAT Audio has some mono blocks they make with some tubes the size of footballs that put out about 180 watts each. Single ended triode. Of course you need a dedicated 20 AMP circuit for each mono and upgrade your AC.

    Here is a link to one of the finest amps made in our world today. It uses the WD 211. Hard to believe that monster in this integrated amps is just 20W Class A into 4 or 8ohms. These is a reason it does not list the price - over $120K for one. There is a good reason so many of us love our VTA products with the sound and value that they give us.

    Those amps are beautiful!

    I used to work on a few of the Dy ST 70's back in the day but never owned one. That's part of the reason I'm here in this forum and ordered one of Bob's 120's. I loved the soundstage coming out of those 70's.
