What sort of "feet" for a PAS-2?

I am about done with the restoration of the Mark IIIs and have started on my PAS-2. The faceplate came out just okay... I built a small fixture to let me sand with 400 grit with a motion parallel to the top and bottom edges. As you know, you've got to clear coat quickly before finger prints, etc. spoil the newly exposed brass. I applied a wet coat of matte clear and that worked very well.

My PAS-2 has no rubber (or other material) feet on its underside. I just scanned Bob's on line assembly guide and parts list and saw no mention of feet. Anyone know what is supposed to be down there? Kevin--you must know?

any kind of rubber feet will work, I use P-H253 from www.tubesandmore.com

I have self adhesive rubber feet under it now, I should have said that I want to know what the "correct" or OEM feet were on the PAS-2. I finished the PAS-2 today and have been listening to it for a couple hours while I made some cables and cleaned my workbench. I must say, not bad. The only remaining issue I have is the volume control which is pretty severly non-linear. It seems like I get about 6db of attentaution between "off" and the 12 o'clock potion. Then I get about another 6db between 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock. The 2 channels seem to track pretty well. The volume is quiet but feels rough. I may put a modern ALPs there if I can find one that is compatible with the volume knob.

The originals were thin rubber feet (around 1/8", if that) that snapped into four holes on the bottom plate. Personally I would use something that is higher.

The early version of the PAS 2 (Brass face) had the pressed in low profile rubber
feet typical of the ST-35, ST-70 & MK IV. Later versions incorporated bolt on rubber
feet. Trying to find an exact match will be difficult and in most cases not important
as long as it fits the mounting hole. I stock replacement rubber feet which are a bit
larger but will fit the PAS unit. I beleve this is our part number BRF-4S.
Alternatively you can find these online from any number of hardware suppliers.

If I remember correctly, the volume control is supposed to be like that. large movements of the volume knob produce small changes in volume until you hit 12:00 then small changes result in large volume increases. Both of my PAS-3s are like that and I am pretty sure the instruction manual confirmed it. I'll go check if I can move off the couch.
