    Hi everyone! Noob here! Grabbed a nice looking ST70 off the Bay. Has original trannys. The amp has been updated by these recommendations from Angelfire. (Adams Dynaco)
    I have a bunch of EL34s. EH 6CA7, NOS Sylvania 'Fat Bottle' 6AC7, JJ EL34L, JJ KT77, Sovtek el34C. For 6l6 I have JJ 6l6GC, Mesa Boogie, and Ruby. Yes, I have guitar amps, hence these tubes. Are they fine to try or something NOS or both? Any suggestion welcome.

    One of the best 6L6 type tubes is the Russian 6P3C tube. These are available on Ebay for relatively low bucks. If you want to get good, tested Russian 6P3C tubes, get in touch with Jim McShane ...
