I ran across these pdf files of this magazine, looks like some interesting reading. All 20 issues can be downloaded free from this link.

    https://web.archive.org/web/20130604042043/http://www.jumpjet.info/Pioneering-Wireless/eMagazines/VTV/vtv.htm

Below is the introductory header for the magazine.

This well regarded magazine is not a contemporary of the other pioneering radio magazines, but it none-the-less contains highly informative articles about vacuum tubes, circuits, test equipment, and gear applicable to students of the pioneering days of radio. Vacuum Tube Valley (the name being a play on the phrase "Silicon Valley", the location where publication began, and where many early radio suppliers once headquartered) ran for twenty jam packed issues, ceasing only because of the publishers untimely death. This is the COMPLETE set.

I can't believe these publications are now 20 yrs old. Vol. 1 is a good read and talks about the history of Dynaco (pg 5), tube selection, and in the back distortion testing of 12AX7 brands. I'll be sure to check out all of them. Thanks for the link!

Downloaded and printed those out double sided years ago. Even put em in a binder. Excellent stuff!

This URL should be a sticky. Too bad he was just a bit ahead of his time.
