dynaco pas z-mod worries Empty dynaco pas z-mod worries

    Post by darkar3796 Wed Jan 06, 2016 11:05 am

I just gradually powered-on a recently completed z-modded dynaco pas 2 preamp (pc5, 6 and power supply). I am hearing little popping sounds that has me worried components are overheating. Tubes look fine but the transformer seems to be running a bit hot. The preamp operated OK before the mod.
    Thanks for any advice.

which power supply did you use? How many tubes are you running between the two boards?
you should contact your supplier directly about this . . . . support@tubenirvana.net
