The jaw-dropping extravagance of the Idle Rich is featured from the 3 minute mark to the twenty minute mark. Feast your ears and your eyes on some mighty powerful juju. I particularly enjoyed the Magic Spatial Boundaries provided by three-inch hardwood discs - makes sense to me. No

Radial strawlers? Diamond-grounded footer feet? Guess I'm not OCD after all, at least on a sliding scale . . . is it OK just to hurl instead?

It must be nice to throw money away when you have an abundance of cash flow.
A lot of BS on that video!

Those MBL speakers are crazy! Look like something from the steam punk era.

Funny, I just came across this online store: http://www.higherfi.com/   ....Featuring amplifiers and speakers ranging in price between what I would pay for a car to even beyond what I would (or can) pay for a house. I had an audiophool friend in South Africa who paid more for just a single interconnect cable (CD DAC --> Preamp) than what I paid for my complete system, and my system was no "low-fi" affair.... I should send him this, he'd be interested for sure.

I'll sell you a PH16 phono preamp for $2000 (instead of $1000) and put 140 hours (instead of 7 hours) of build time into it,
and if it's not as good or better than this other phono preamp, I'll give you a refund!!!
wait . . . maybe somebody got the exchange rate wrong, maybe those are Mexican pesos (17 to a $$), that would make it $4647

    AUDIO NOTE
    M-9 Phono
Phono and linestage tube preamp, MM and 3 line inputs, 140hrs to hand make each one
    World Pricing RETAIL PRICE: $150,000
    World Pricing YOUR PRICE: $79,000

    Technically, it wasn't PT Barnum.
