    Hello all,
Any recommendations for cleaning an original Dynaco chasis without removing the lettering? Thanks.

I've used Flitz, Simichrome, and Brasso with "okay" results on the plating and no damage to the factory lettering. As you probably know, a Dynaco chassis will never look chrome plated or like a Mac chassis. Flitz is probably my preferred polish. I have not tried the stuff someone is pitching on ebay specifically for Dynaco. I am skeptical of the results they claim. I would be delighted to be corrected!

I'll try the Flitz this weekend if I can find it. Thanks for the reply.

I got a tip for this from this forum a while back... Go to a place that sells guns... they sell these gun cleaning cloths that have a silicone in them.. they clean and polish the chasis nice. You could go with the options above and then use one of these cloths when you just want to give the amp a nice protective shine. the silicone in the cloth protects the metal.

    It works for me
