SP11 Preamp Just Arrived!

I couldn't resist the new SP11, such a great preamp for such a low price. And it sounds AMAZING!

The rest of the system consists of:

VTA ST-120
VTA PH16X
Klipsch Forte with Bob Crites upgrades

What no Vinyl Nirvana TD 125 or TD 160 with a Jelco 550 or 850s? Sorry for the hijack. I've been spinning over this one for a long while now!

I have a TD 145 I have been thinking about sending in for restoration. I may do that sometime in the future. But for now, I am leaning towards the 1200GR.

Nice! I love my SL-1200 Mk2 for its utility and honesty, but I find the JVC (QL-A7) edges it out a bit on sound stage and some other untangables.
The new GR could be a game changer. I've read the data, and I know it's something I'd look forward to. Keep us posted.

Very nice Roy! Great idea to offer this in a tiny package. What are you doing for power supply?
Perhaps you could offer a similar small PH12? They would make a nice pair.

What Racks are they? I am looking for low priced racks. Thought of getting some Costco plastic shelving, but I think my wife would detonate.

Not the cheapest rack system but very well made and easy to assemble.

Thanks!. I am hinting heavily for Christmas. If its not a gift, I will probably buy them for myself. Didn't think of Amazon. Thought of going to Ikea and buying something unpronoucable.

Assembling the rack now. Looks good, will help organize my system and my office. VTA-120 in my office, with a CD player ( OLD Yamaha, a switch box, Dayton D10 DAC, Variac, and a GFI. Cambridge Soundworks Ensemble Speakers ( eBay, $100. First Generation, probably from 1986. I have a second set I bought new in 1986).

I am considering this, but here is very little info on it. Perhaps someone can help:
-What does the inside look like? (Pics please)
-What is the power supply like vs the SP12?
-What all worthwhile upgrades from the SP14 can fit in here (I love/need this smaller form factor, but would love as much of the 14’s performance as I can get)?
-What are the physical dimensions?
-Is there any way this can be wired with 2 pairs of outs, instead of one?
-This is probably a dumb question, but can a set of inputs be converted to XLR?

I'm not sure why I have to keep reminding people this is DIY (do it yourself) which means that ANYTHING can be done, whatever you want.
But all those extra parts won't fit in the original 10x7x2 box, so you would need a bigger box. Send me an email directly and I can
send you some photos and discuss any options you would want.

Sorry I wasn't trying to be a bother, but this is the ONLY thread that shows up on forum when you search "SP-11" or "SP11". I emailed you these same questions, yesterday, but posted this thinking it might be nice for these questions to be answered on the forum, in case someone on the future tries to search for the SP-11.

I didn't know this was only DIY, as the site still has options for an assembled and tested version for $525 and a kit for $425. As long as there are instructions like what was included when I built Bob's VTA70, I would actually like to try the kit. However, I'm not knowledgeable enough to go around changing things from the directions, without help/advice.
